I have implemented concept of lazy loading in my project, and I'm showing an image through URL in List view through lazy loading. All are working absolutely fine.
But now problem is I want to pass the image from one screen to another which is downloaded from URL.
I'm not able to do that. For your reference, I'm pasting the code:
package com.android.istock;
import java.io.File;
import java.io.FileInputStream;
import java.io.FileNotFoundException;
import java.io.FileOutputStream;
import java.io.InputStream;
import java.io.OutputStream;
import java.net.URL;
import java.util.HashMap;
import java.util.Stack;
import android.app.Activity;
import android.content.Context;
import android.graphics.Bitmap;
import android.graphics.BitmapFactory;
import android.widget.ImageView;
public class ImageLoader {
//the simplest in-memory cache implementation. This should be replaced with something like SoftReference or BitmapOptions.inPurgeable(since 1.6)
private HashMap<String, Bitmap> cache=new HashMap<String, Bitmap>();
private File cacheDir;
public ImageLoader(Context context){
//Make the background thead low priority. This way it will not affect the UI performance
photoLoaderThread.setPriority(Thread.NORM_PRIORITY-1);
//Find the dir to save cached images
if (android.os.Environment.getExternalStorageState().equals(android.os.Environment.MEDIA_MOUNTED))
cacheDir=new File(android.os.Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory(),"LazyList");
else
cacheDir=context.getCacheDir();
if(!cacheDir.exists())
cacheDir.mkdirs();
}
final int stub_id=R.drawable.stub;
public void DisplayImage(String url, Activity activity, ImageView imageView)
{
if(cache.containsKey(url))
imageView.setImageBitmap(cache.get(url));
else
{
queuePhoto(url, activity, imageView);
imageView.setImageResource(stub_id);
}
}
private void queuePhoto(String url, Activity activity, ImageView imageView)
{
//This ImageView may be used for other images before. So there may be some old tasks in the queue. We need to discard them.
photosQueue.Clean(imageView);

synchronized(photosQueue.photosToLoad){

}

//I identify images by hashcode. Not a perfect solution, good for the demo.

//clear SD cache
File[] files=cacheDir.listFile开发者_C百科s();

f.delete();
}
}
Now I want to use the image in next screen. How can I do that?
You have used a function getBitmap.
"private Bitmap getBitmap(String url)"
This function returns you the image that are cached in SDCard.
See line
" //from SD cache "
It identifies the image by it's hashcode.
Now since images are cached, you can use the similar code of the getBitmap, just you have to pass URL to that page where you want to access it, set some variables like cacheDir etc.
Hope this will be some help.
