Is there a way to tell JPA/Hibernate to transform column names from camcel case to _'s?

Is there a generic way to tell JPA/Hibernate to transform all column names of the form:

emailAddress

to the form:

email_address

?

I'd rather not have to use a @Column annotation for hundreds of columns. I hope someone开发者_如何学Go thought of this ;)

The interface org.hibernate.cfg.NamingStrategy allows you to specify a "naming standard" for database objects and schema elements.

You can provide rules for automatically generating database identifiers from Java identifiers or for processing "logical" column and table names given in the mapping file into "physical" table and column names.
