We are developing in vb.net using Visual Studio 2008 and a SQL 2005 back end database and are looking for a Report Designer that can be used to build reports and give the User the开发者_StackOverflow中文版 ability to modify and create reports once the software is sold and in use.
Why not just use ReportBuilder which comes free with ReportingServices which comes free with SQL Server, which you're using anyway? No point in reinventing the wheel
SQL 2008 uses version 2.0 http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/2008/en/us/report-builder.aspx
Version 3.0 is imminent!
