Finding the Remainder after Division in C

You need to use division and remainder by 10,

163 divided by 10 is 16 and remainder is 3
16 divided by 10 is 1 and remainder is 6
1 divided by 10 is 0 and remainder is 1

Notice that the remainder is always the last digit of the number that's being divided.

It works for any number too:
