Since the Aptana start page is a welcome page, you could try and follow that thread recommending:

• looking for a plugin_customization.ini file
• adding:

    org.eclipse.ui/showIntro=false
    org.eclipse.ui/SHOW_PROGRESS_ON_STARTUP=false
