SQLServerConnectionPoolDataSource and servlet

I'd like to 开发者_StackOverflowuse the MSSQL jdbc object as SQLServerConnectionPoolDataSource in my servlet... But the thing is I am not pretty sure should I keep the pool dataSource in my session for live batches executing or there is another way? I couldn't find any code snippets showing SQLServerConnectionPoolDataSource and servlet using so it would be great you to share some :)
