How can I pivot for a column with dates as month?

Example:

I get this error:

Incorrect syntax near '('.

(Line with "FOR MONTH(def_datum)")

Result should look like this:

If you move the Month function into a prior sourcetable the PIVOT works. Note I don't think you need to go grouping things following the pivot.
