Clippy - performance

I use Clippy for copying calculated time into clipboard to user of application can paste it where he need. One row/record = one Clippy. I am facing performance issue.

My issue, as I described in GitHub:

On today screen, clippy loads just slow. But on Datetimes#index, where is more开发者_开发问答 datetimes, it takes more than minute to load them all, and it slow down whole computer :(

1. Did you ever solving this kind of issue?

2. Or if it's not issue, but Clippy should not be used this way, what better solution should i use for copying text into user's clipboard?
