In hudson git does not get the latest revision when doing a fetch

I just installed Hudson on a machine that has been running a git repo for a while (close to 2 years now). I created a new job in Hudson and loaded source from this repo (local开发者_StackOverflow, not ssh or anything). When I try to build this, the git clone goes fine, but for some weird reason, it does not get the latest revision. It stops at some revision from 2009 and does not retrieve the latest revision.

This has been a big pain, since all commands seem to be fine, and I dont know what to do. If I navigate to the workspace and do a:

git fetch
git rebase origin/master

it is able to immediately reflect the changes.
